Folded Map: Nashville Street Map Reviews
This seems to be the only available fold-out map of Boston on the market, which is why I got it---even though I have a GPS in my car and regularly use Google Maps online, it's nice to have a physical map in addition, in order to get more of a "lay of the land" sense of where things are in relation to each other.
I bought this for my grandma as she just recently moved to the city. You'd think in a city with so much tourism it wouldn't be so hard to find a street map (especially at a truck stop)... but you'd be wrong. I finally broke down and bought this one. It's been great to show her where things are and I use the little sticky note arrows to point out places she needs. I'd definitely recommend this map to someone new to the area. It shows streets clearly on it.
It's a map. I can read it well enough. I noticed others thought the type was too small. However, my gripe is that it doesn't cover the surrounding areas very well. I am trying to buy a house there and need a larger perspective than it offers EVEN THOUGH the houses I'm looking at all have NASHVILLE addresses. I think it's out of date for how the city has grown, but for the inner city areas, it's fine.
I'm just happy to have a paper map--looking at a computer doesn't always give me the perspective I'd like to see. I'm sorry that paper maps are becoming a rarity.
Great detail, very useful - for those who don't have a nav system, this is a must in Nashville!
good delivery, goid price. streets too small to see. could not use this in travel
The map gave a quick reference after studying a navigation app on a tablet. It helped to get a sense of Nashville's connectedness. I was able to locate my points of interest, making my trip planning certain. I left the map out on my drawing table completely opened up.
