How To Draw The Human Figure - Complete Guide Reviews
I guess I should have been paying closer attention the book is tiny 6x5 too small for an art book. I will try and get a full size one because the content is excellent.
The content is excellent, but difficult to see! I saw images of some of the pages online, and by the density of the page layout, of course I assumed it was a normal-sized book! So I had a good laugh when I received it and saw how tiny it is! It appears to be a replica of a normal-sized art book. It's so cute! It reminds me of those "mini LP" CDs designed to be a reduced-size replica of the original LP. It really looks like a miniature replica of a full-sized book. It's so packed with valuable content that it must also exist as a full-sized book. I can't imagine an author would put this much work and instruction into a book only to publish in this format alone. The text must be about a millimeter tall. If you have young eyes, you might have no trouble. And it is very portable! ;) But I'm happy to have this little book, partly for the novelty of it and partly for the content. It's like a little jewel. I will literally read it with a magnifying glass!
An enchanting little book. There are better books for the complete novice but for someone who has been drawing and can't quite get the human figure, this will be a godsend. The essence of what the human figure is is captured and explained. The drawings are beautiful and the text is short and carefully written. If nothing else, frame these lovely drawings and hang them.
I would like to know if there is a bigger edition for this book: How to draw the human figure, by John and Jody Raynes, because I can hardly read the 2000 edition. The typography is edtremely small! Thank you.
this book is very good for learning how to draw. It has well described drawings!!!
