You can tell from the pictures that every piece in this book is lovely. What you can't see is the several pages at the beginning of the book that explain in length how the "curls" work with helpful diagrams. These patterns have a lot of room for the knitter to tailor each piece to a size of their liking. There is a good explanation of what parts can be expanded or abbreviated to make the size of your choice.

I bought the first Curls book, and loved it. I'm working on a wrap from the first book, and it is really fun and easy once you understand how the construction works. The author has again brought some great designs in her new book Curls 2. The best thing about this book, and her designs is that you can use any weight of yarn, and any needle size, It's up to you!

This follow up to the first Curls book is just as fantastic. I love his designs, the book is very clearly laid out, the charts are easy to follow, and the pictures are beautiful. I’m on my second Curl already, and got so many compliments on the first one! Love it!!!

I now own both of the Curls books and love them - the patterns are beautiful and easy to follow, and there's enough variety to take care of most of my holiday gifts without repeating a pattern!

This is a really novel approach to knitting scarfs and shawls. If you have a yarn stash, this book should be part of your library. Without giving away what's inside, this concept allows you to use what you have, both yarn and needles, to create beautiful one of a kind accessories. I've made one so far, but I can tell you this will be my go to book for this type of garment going forward.

Curls, the first book was much better. This one was not very different and I don't really see anything that catches my eye like the 1st book, which I have already made one shawl from and will make another.
