Creating Beds and Borders: Creative Ideas from America's Best Gardeners (Fine Gardening Design Guides) Reviews
"Creating Beds and Borders" is a volume in the series of 'Fine Gardening' Design Guides issued by the Taunton Press. The book consists of separate articles by various contributors to 'Fine Gardening' magazine. Continuity is supplied by the subject matter, garden beds and borders.
This book is a great source of borders and beds and how to make them easily. Borders give definition to a garden and make the flowers flow into one another. It doesn't look like you just threw them together. Buy this book if you want your garden to look professional, or, if you just want to be able to cut the lawn and not the flower bed.
Book was in very good condition. Has a lot of useful info
Fine Gardening never disappoints! This book was excellent and provides ideas and insight into why gardeners garden and their philosophy.
Nice reading, very useful
I am not a gardener by any means (I kill things) but I found this book to be incredibly informative and inspiraional. It covers a wide variety of topics and is written by 6 different gardeners. The pictures are just lovely and provided just the right amount of inspiration to push me in the right direction. I would recommend this book for anyone looking to either create or repurpose flower beds.
Very Informative for landscapers.
learned at lot particularly about variation in textures and color combinations. I found the book very useful. Would reccomment this for those that want to landscape .
