Contractor's Pricing Guide 2017: Residential Repair & Remodeling Costs with RSMeans Data (Means Residential Repair & Remodeling Costs) Reviews
I was going to give it a four star for being so simplistically formulaic in its presentation, then I thought heck no, easy to access standards and a simple layout are exactly what you want if you are trying to get an accurate quote to a customer. This book is awesome, and the only thing that would improve it would be in a simple same data base that I could query quicker than the book. I'm certain it's out there, and if not I might OCR it into a data base structure that I can use for my own purposes.
This is great resource for verifying prices. If they are more than 20% different from these numbers, start asking questions. They either made a mistake in their calculations which will bite everyone later or they are guessing which will not be any fun either.
Great book. essential for any contractor or handyman looking to properly bid jobs.
If you are a contractor and want to know the material costs without leaving your job, this is it.
My dad is a contractor and had a hard time finding this book, but I found it here and got it for him. It has been awesome for him. No issues.
We've used this book every year for our small construction business. It really helps in pricing jobs.
Did not have information for lead paint removal.
Book gives reasonable pricing while helping the contractor make sure they don't forget an aspect of the job. Would fully reccomend the boom to make sure your pricing stays up with the time
